About The Position

UMass Memorial Health, the leading health and wellness partner for Central Massachusetts and the region’s largest healthcare system, is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the Division of Endocrinology at UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester, MA. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a growing Endocrinology and Diabetes team within a collaborative, patient-centered environment focused on inpatient diabetes care. The role involves providing comprehensive inpatient diabetes care as part of a multidisciplinary Endocrinology team, delivering high-quality, patient-centered management for patients with complex endocrine and metabolic conditions. The position is in an inpatient setting with 5 clinical days per week, including one weekend per month with compensatory time off and a higher weekend rate. The team is well-established and collegial, consisting of 23 Faculty Members, 19 Advanced Practice Providers, 5 Fellows, and 6 Certified Diabetes Care and Educational Specialists. The Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system used is Epic.

Requirements

Master’s degree from an accredited NP or PA program.
NP or PA certification.
Massachusetts NP or PA license.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.

Nice To Haves

3-5 years of provider experience in Endocrinology.
