Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant – Family Medicine
About The Position
As an Advanced Practice Provider, you'll play an integral role in our inpatient and ambulatory care teams by providing high-quality, cost-effective care to patients. We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner OR Physician Assistant to perform annual physical exams and manage the health maintenance needs of our family medicine population. You will care for the acute and chronic needs of patients from newborn to elderly, perform telemedicine (video and telephone) visits, and perform routine clinical procedures independently including wart removal, paps smears, IUD removal, IUD/Nexplanon placement and skin lesion removals.
Requirements
- Master’s or Doctorate’s degree from accredited Nursing Program (if Nurse Practitioner)
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from accredited PA Program (if Physician Assistant)
- State of Wisconsin NP or PA licensure
- Active RN and APRN certifications and licenses, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice AND Active board certification as a NP in area of clinical practice (if Nurse Practitioner)
- Active PA license, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice AND Active PA board certification (if Physician Assistant)
- Active DEA license or ability to apply for such license prior to or upon hire
Nice To Haves
- Two (2) years of relevant clinical experience preferred
