Practice locations can include Duke Health’s three hospitals or over 140 primary care and specialty care clinics throughout North Carolina. This specific role is for an Advanced Practice Provider for the Duke Cancer Network to practice at the Johnston Hematology Oncology Clinic in Clayton, NC. The APP will work with the team to provide hematology/oncology care to patients, participate in clinical trials, provide education, and collaboratively identify opportunities to improve the program. Primary hours will be Monday through Friday, day shift, with hours flexible to meet the needs of the patients; with rotational on-call responsibilities as assigned. The APP will work with attending provider/s to ensure inpatient consults are managed timely. This position is part of the Duke Cancer Network (DCN), a division of Duke Health Affiliations and Networks, which supports the patient care and operations of hematology/oncology clinics at affiliate hospitals.
