Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant, Cardiology (Dallas/Heath, TX)
About The Position
Connected Cardiovascular Care Associates (C3) is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing cardiology practice serving the Heath and Dallas communities. This role offers a balanced mix of outpatient clinic care and light inpatient rounding, within a collaborative, physician-led environment. C3 is an innovative, physician-led cardiovascular practice founded by Dr. Tony Das, a nationally recognized interventional cardiologist. Our practice delivers comprehensive cardiovascular care across coronary, vascular, structural heart, electrophysiology, heart failure, and preventive cardiology. You will work closely with a highly experienced clinical team, including advanced practice providers and dedicated support staff.
Requirements
- NP or PA from an accredited program
- Nurse Practitioners: AGACNP required
- Minimum 5 years of cardiology experience required
- Active Texas license in good standing
- DEA and Controlled Substance Registration
- ACLS and BLS certification
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage cardiology patients in the outpatient setting
- Perform and document history, physical exams, and follow-up care in the EMR
- Review and communicate diagnostic testing results, including imaging
- Collaborate with physicians, APPs, and clinical staff on patient care plans
- Triage patient needs, including messaging, pre-operative clearance, and peer-to-peer reviews
- Provide oversight for in-office testing (CT, PET CT, nuclear stress testing)
