About The Position

Advanced Primary Care is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide relationship-centered responsive care to a small panel of patients, focusing on quality care, prevention, and developing trusted patient-doctor relationships. This role is ideal for someone passionate about caring for seniors and achieving better health outcomes. The position offers an operational structure and supportive team focused on long-term outcomes for a small patient panel. The ideal candidate is innovative, ready to lead clinic development and growth, and capable of providing high-touch, value-based care that challenges traditional constraints.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree (for Nurse Practitioner: accredited program; for Physician Assistant: accredited program).
  • For Nurse Practitioner: Evidence of completion of a master’s, post-master’s or doctorate from a Nurse Practitioner program that is accredited by the Commission on the Collegiate of Nursing Education or the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (if education and certification obtained after 2000).
  • 3 years of relevant experience (for Nurse Practitioner: current, relevant clinical experience).
  • Previous experience functioning in a collaborative role as a Nurse Practitioner.
  • LIC-Nurse Practitioner (NP) - State of Michigan (for Nurse Practitioner).
  • LIC-Physician Assistant - State of Michigan (for Physician Assistant).
  • CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS).
  • CRT-Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
  • CRT-Pediatric Adv Life Support (PALS).
  • CRT-Physician Asst Certified (PA-C) - NCCPA National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (for Physician Assistant).
