About The Position
Springfield Clinic, one of the largest multi-specialty physician-owned medical practices in Illinois, is seeking an Advanced Practitioner to join their Urgent Care Plus team in Springfield, IL. Urgent Care Plus is described as the region's first high acuity urgent care, staffed with experienced, board-certified emergency medicine physicians, and emergency-trained advanced practice providers (APPs) and nurses. It serves as an alternative to the emergency room for cases that do not require hospital admission, with a clear pathway for escalation if needed. The facility is modern, quiet, and easily accessible, offering efficient diagnosis and care in an outpatient setting, with on-site expanded radiology, labs, and IV fluids. Referrals to Springfield Clinic Primary Care and Specialty Care partners are also available.
Requirements
- Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
- Current Illinois licensure or eligibility to obtain
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to high-quality patient care
