About The Position

Springfield Clinic is seeking an Advanced Practitioner to join their Urgent Care Plus team in Springfield, IL. Urgent Care Plus is a new, high acuity urgent care facility opening in early 2025, offering an alternative to the emergency room for patients who do not require hospital admission but need more than standard urgent care. The facility will be staffed with experienced emergency medicine physicians, advanced practice providers, and nurses. It aims to provide efficient diagnosis and care in a modern, accessible outpatient setting, with on-site expanded radiology, labs, and IV fluids. The role involves caring for high acuity cases that do not require hospital admission and facilitating pathways to hospital care if needed. Referrals to Springfield Clinic's primary and specialty care partners will also be a component of the service.

Requirements

• Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
• Current Illinois licensure or eligibility to obtain
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to high-quality patient care

Nice To Haves

• Emergency Medicine experience preferred
