Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
About The Position
QuadMed is hiring a Nurse Practitioner OR Physician Assistant to join our Kohl's clinic in DeSoto, TX! Work with a team-oriented staff to provide quality care to Kohl's employees and their dependents. This is an outpatient only position with a preventative medicine focus, offering a practice based on quality of care and not productivity. You will work with a commercially insured patient base, enjoy a good work-life balance with a realistic patient panel size, and utilize the Epic EMR system. Make a difference in the lives of patients who are challenged to be engaged and responsible for their own care in a collegial environment.
Requirements
- Completed master's degree level Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program from an accredited college/university
- Minimum three (3) years primary care practice experience
- Ability to work independently
- Working with an Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
- Active and unrestricted applicable licensure
- Current CPR (BLS) certification or must be obtained within 60 days of hire
- NPI & DEA
- Current National Board Certification
Nice To Haves
- May be required to obtain and maintain a valid DOT Medical Examiner Certification, depending on job responsibilities or location.
