About The Position

RAMC is looking for a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our Walk-In Care Clinic in a Per Diem/As-Needed position! This is a great opportunity to join a supportive healthcare team while providing convenient, high-quality care to patients in our community.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited NP/PA school.
• Current licensure as an RN and APNP/PA in Wisconsin.
• Board-certified adult Nurse Practitioner or Family Practitioner.
• BLS certified.
• Meets health requirements.
• Ability to work in a clinic environment with appropriate technological support.
• Must be able to deal with multiple priorities calmly.
• Requires decision-making, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Recognizes legal responsibilities and functions as specified by Wisconsin State law.

Nice To Haves

• 1-2 years of experience preferred
• Any additional training for specific areas of focus hired for.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage and direct patient care, which will be comprehensive, safe, and efficient.
• Offer available resources and educational opportunities to patients, support personnel, and community members.
• Assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management, education, health promotion, and care coordination for patients.
• Demonstrate an advanced level of clinical knowledge, communication, interdisciplinary collaboration, professionalism, and evidence-based practice.
• Work with administration, nursing, physicians, and other staff to assure safe, effective, and high-quality patient care.
