About The Position

QuadMed is hiring a Nurse Practitioner OR Physician Assistant to join our Kohl's clinic in DeSoto, TX! Work with a team-oriented staff to provide quality care to Kohl's employees and their dependents. This is a full-time position with a schedule of 40 hours/week. The practice is based on quality of care and not productivity, with a commercially insured patient base. It is an outpatient-only role with a preventative medicine focus, offering work-life balance and a realistic patient panel size. The role utilizes the Epic EMR system. The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will make a difference in the lives of patients who are challenged to be engaged and responsible for their own care, within a collegial environment.

Requirements

• Completed master's degree level Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program from an accredited college/university.
• Minimum three (3) years primary care practice experience.
• Ability to work independently.
• Working with an Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
• Active and unrestricted applicable licensure.
• Current CPR (BLS) certification or must be obtained within 60 days of hire.
• NPI & DEA.
• Current National Board Certification.

Nice To Haves

• May be required to obtain and maintain a valid DOT Medical Examiner Certification, depending on job responsibilities or location.
