About The Position

Esse Health is seeking a compassionate Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) to join their Southside Family Practice. This full-time opportunity focuses on delivering high-quality care in a supportive, physician-led environment, with a particular emphasis on geriatric patient care. The role involves developing 1:1 relationships with patients and staff, providing comprehensive primary care services to adult patients, conducting evaluations and physical exams, diagnosing and managing conditions, and developing treatment plans in collaboration with a physician partner. Emphasis is placed on preventive care, wellness, and patient education, with accurate documentation in the electronic health record (NextGen). The position also requires coordination of care with specialists and participation in quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Master’s Degree of Science in Nursing or Physician Assistant-Master’s Degree
Current Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant licensure in Missouri (or eligibility)
Certified Physician Assistant or Certified Nurse Practitioner (or eligibility)
Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills
Commitment to patient-centered, team-based care
Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with physicians

Nice To Haves

1 - 2 years + of Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant experience
Experience working with a geriatric patient population
