About The Position

Sansum Clinic, now part of Sutter Health, is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing Orthopedic Surgery team in Santa Barbara, CA. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work alongside a collaborative team of orthopedic surgeons in a dynamic, patient-centered environment. The APC will play a key role supporting both clinic and surgical care, with a strong emphasis on total joint procedures. The position involves an independent clinic panel with referrals to orthopedic surgeons, pre- and post-operative patient management, and first assisting in the OR. The practice focuses on general orthopedics with an emphasis on total joint surgery. The role offers a balanced mix of autonomy and team collaboration, ideal for an APC who enjoys both clinic continuity and surgical involvement.

Requirements

NP/PA with Directly Related Experience in Internal Medicine Preferred
Board Certified
Eligible to Work in the United States
CA Licensure
CA Furnishing License
Exceptional Communication and Interpersonal Skills

Responsibilities
