About The Position
Sansum Clinic, now part of Sutter Health, is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing Orthopedic Surgery team in Santa Barbara, CA. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside a collaborative team of orthopedic surgeons in a dynamic, patient-centered environment. The APC will play a key role supporting both clinic and surgical care, with a strong emphasis on total joint procedures. The role offers a balanced mix of autonomy and team collaboration, ideal for an APC who enjoys both clinic continuity and surgical involvement.
Requirements
- NP/PA with Directly Related Experience in Internal Medicine Preferred
- Board Certified
- Eligible to Work in the United States
- CA Licensure
- CA Furnishing License

- Experience building a high quality and efficient program
Responsibilities
- Supporting clinic and surgical care
- Managing a patient panel independently with referrals to orthopedic surgeons
- Pre- and post-operative patient management
- First assist in the OR
- Contributing to the enhancement of the total hip and knee joint replacement program
