About The Position

Geisinger is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Employee Health team in Pittston, PA and flexibility to cover some hours in Danville as needed. This role supports the health and well-being of our colleagues by providing high-quality occupational and employee health services in a collaborative, highly engaged clinical environment.

Requirements

Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
Active or eligible Pennsylvania license
Several years of clinical experience required; new graduates will not be considered
Master's Degree-Physician Assistant
Basic Life Support Certification
Certified Nurse Practitioner - American Academy of Nurse Practitioners
Licensed Registered Nurse (Pennsylvania)

Nice To Haves

Experience in Emergency Medicine, ambulatory clinic, or similar outpatient settings
Interest in Employee Health or Occupational Medicine (prior occupational health experience is not required)

Responsibilities

Provide occupational and employee health services.
Manage sick visits, work-related injuries and exposures.
Conduct regulatory physicals (e.g., Department of Transportation).
Manage patients independently, with support from the Medical Director.
Refer patients to specialists as needed.

Benefits

Recruitment incentive - $10,000, paid in lump sum upon start.
