About The Position

Geisinger is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Employee Health team in Pittston, PA and flexibility to cover some hours in Danville as needed. This role supports the health and well-being of our colleagues by providing high-quality occupational and employee health services in a collaborative, highly engaged clinical environment.

Requirements

• Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Active or eligible Pennsylvania license
• Several years of clinical experience required; new graduates will not be considered
• Master's Degree-Physician Assistant
• Basic Life Support Certification
• Certified Nurse Practitioner - American Academy of Nurse Practitioners
• Licensed Registered Nurse (Pennsylvania)
• Care Management Knowledge

Nice To Haves

• Experience in Emergency Medicine, ambulatory clinic, or similar outpatient settings
• Interest in Employee Health or Occupational Medicine (prior occupational health experience is not required)

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational and employee health services.
• Care includes sick visits, work-related injuries and exposures, and regulatory physicals (e.g., Department of Transportation).
• Manage patients independently, with support from the Medical Director, and refer to specialists as needed.
