About The Position
Goodside Health is dedicated to providing in-person urgent care, primary care, telemedicine, and SchoolMed services for children in K-12 schools across Texas. Our mission is to revolutionize pediatric healthcare delivery, ensuring equitable access and quality care for all children. We are seeking dynamic and innovative Nurse Practioner's or Pediatricians Assistant to join our Pediatric Urgent Care team. As a member of our team, you will collaborate with medical directors and site physicians to deliver age-appropriate care under established protocols. Responsibilities include assessment, diagnosis, treatment initiation, independent decision-making and supervision of NP/PA.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner (PNP or FNP) or Physician Assistant, with a focus on pediatric care.
- Proficiency in laceration repair, initial fracture management, and reduction of nursemaid's elbow.
- Familiarity with OSHA and CLIA guidelines, office tasks, confidentiality, and filing systems.
- Current, valid, unencripsi RN license from the Texas Board of Nursing.
- Active certification by national certifying bodies recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing (PNP-BC, FNP-BC) or NCCPA.
- Current PALS Certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
