About The Position

Esse Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for their Fenton Family Medicine office. This is a part-time opening, requiring 24 hours per week, spread over 3 days that the employee can choose between Monday and Friday. The role focuses on outpatient primary care for adult patients, emphasizing preventive care and patient education. The position involves developing 1:1 relationships with patients and clinical staff, conducting evaluations, diagnosing and managing conditions, and documenting care in an electronic health record. Requirements

Master’s Degree of Science in Nursing or Physician Assistant-Master’s Degree
Current Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant licensure in Missouri (or eligibility)
Certified Physician Assistant or Certified Nurse Practitioner (or eligibility)
Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills
Commitment to patient-centered, team-based care
Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with physicians

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive primary care services to adult patients
Conduct patient evaluations, physical exams, and diagnostic assessments
Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions
Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with physician partner
Emphasize preventive care, wellness, and patient education
Document patient care accurately and efficiently in the electronic health record (NextGen)
Coordinate care with specialists and other members of the healthcare team
Participate in quality improvement and care coordination initiatives
