Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Family Medicine - Supplemental
About The Position
The Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) will work in a care team setting in collaboration with other team members including physicians and other allied health staff. The NP or PA will be involved in population management strategies to improve chronic illness outcomes. The provision of care includes but is not limited to comprehensive evaluation, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescription of pharmacologic agents and treatments, non-pharmacologic therapies, and counseling patients. Family Medicine is located within the Baldwin Building, NW Clinic, NE Clinic, SE Clinic, and Kasson Clinic. The exact current practice location within Rochester will be determined based on practice needs at the time of hire.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
- Current RN and APRN license or PA license to practice in the state of Minnesota.
- DEA registration.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

- Experience with electronic health records.
