About The Position

Sansum Santa Barbara Medical Clinic seeks to hire a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our dynamic Urgent Care team. This role involves working in an urgent care environment, responsible for all walk-in patients per day. The position requires working with 1-2 MDs and 1-2 NPs/PAs per shift, with 12-hour shifts and a requirement of working 2 weekends per month. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, confidence in evaluating labs and x-rays, and experience with elderly and pediatric patients.

Requirements

• NP/PA with directly related experience in Urgent Care (Experience required)
• BLS/ACLS
• Board certified or board eligible
• DEA certificate
• Eligible to work in the United States
• CA licensure or the ability to obtain CA licensure

Nice To Haves

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Confidence in evaluating labs, x-rays, etc.
• Elderly and PEDS patients experience

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all walk in patients per day
• Working with 1-2 MD’s and 1-2 NP’s/PA’s per shift
• 12HR shifts
• Required 2 weekends per month
