About The Position
Sansum Santa Barbara Medical Clinic seeks to hire a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our dynamic Urgent Care team. This role involves responsibility for all walk-in patients per day in an urgent care environment. The team typically consists of 1-2 MDs and 1-2 NPs/PAs per shift. The position requires working 12-hour shifts, with a requirement of working 2 weekends per month.
Requirements
- NP/PA with directly related experience in Urgent Care
- BLS/ACLS
- Board certified or board eligible
- DEA certificate
- Eligible to work in the United States
- CA licensure or the ability to obtain CA licensure
Nice To Haves
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Confidence in evaluating labs, x-rays, etc.
- Elderly and PEDS patients experience
