About The Position

Mayo Clinic, a leading medical center for bone marrow transplants (BMT), is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join its multidisciplinary team. This role involves working with a high degree of autonomy across three integrated practice settings: an inpatient hospital service, a 24/7 hospital-based outpatient clinic, and a pre/post-transplant outpatient clinic. The NP/PA will conduct comprehensive assessments, diagnose conditions, order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications including chemotherapeutic agents, and provide patient education. The position offers opportunities within a teaching institution with research and educational support, focusing on complex hematologic malignancies and comorbidities, thus challenging providers to utilize and develop internal medicine skills alongside BMT care.
