About The Position
This full-time role focuses on providing compassionate outpatient pediatric care to children from birth through adolescence. Responsibilities include performing well-child exams, evaluating sick visits, managing common pediatric conditions, educating families, and coordinating care with physicians and clinical staff. The provider will also maintain timely medical records, communicate with families regarding follow-up needs, and contribute to a supportive team dedicated to high-quality pediatric care.
Requirements
- For Nurse Practitioners: Hold one of the following certifications for pediatric primary care: Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Pediatric Nurse Practitioner – Primary Care (PNP-PC)
- For Physician Assistants: Graduate of an accredited PA program
- For Physician Assistants: Current NCCPA certification
- For Physician Assistants: Eligible for North Carolina licensure
- North Carolina license (or eligibility)
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to compassionate pediatric care
