Expanding practice seeks a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to work in Radiology in Statesville, North Carolina! Join a nonprofit health system's Radiology department in a full-time, Monday–Friday day role with room for professional growth in a supportive environment.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited NP or PA program
- Current applicable state medical license
- Ability to perform complex patient diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
- Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and oral/written communication skills
- Ability to maintain composure and work efficiently under pressure
Nice To Haves
- Master's degree preferred
Responsibilities
- Determine appropriate patient care plans using medical decision-making skills
- Collaborate with the medical team for effective team-based care
- Order and interpret laboratory studies and diagnostic procedures
- Perform complex diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
- Explain the necessity, preparation, nature, and anticipated effects of scheduled procedures to patients
