Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Primary Care | 4 Day Week
About The Position
Expanding practice seeks a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to work in the Fall River, Massachusetts area. This role is located 20 minutes from Providence, Rhode Island, 30 minutes from Cape Cod, and an hour from Boston. The position offers the opportunity to make a difference within a growing team of providers who focus on enhancing the lives they serve and value learning and growth. The company is a 180-provider, physician-owned multispecialty group employing 70 advanced practice providers, with full on-site support from specialists and testing facilities, including full laboratory, radiology, cardiac and pulmonary testing, allergy, and infectious disease services. The practice uses eClinicalWorks EMR. The APP functions as a member of an office-based, patient-focused team.
Requirements
- Licensed NP or PA in Massachusetts
- Valid DEA certificate
- Massachusetts Controlled Substances Registration
- Compassion, maturity, and excellent communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Experience desirable, but strong recent graduates also considered
- Fluency in Portuguese particularly valuable in the Fall River area
Responsibilities
- Join the office practice of a Family Medicine physician
- See adult and adolescent patients under physician supervision
- Independent responsibility for patient care commensurate with experience, training, and confidence
