About The Position
MyMichigan Health has a new opportunity for a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the growing Neurosurgery team. This role involves a rotation of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities. In the future, the role will include first assisting in the OR and rotating call.
Requirements
- Graduate of accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Program
- AHA approved BLS Certification
Nice To Haves
- Neurosurgery experience preferred; new graduates will be considered
Responsibilities
- Outpatient: New patient and established patient appointments, Hospital follow-up appointments, Virtual appointments
- Inpatient: Consults, Discharge Summaries, Placing pre-op and post-op orders, Transfer/referral coordination
- First assisting in the OR
- Rotating call
