About The Position

This position is for a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) in the Neurology department. The role is 0.6-0.8 FTE. Olmsted Medical Center values its clinicians and offers a comprehensive benefits package for those employed at 0.5 FTE or higher. The salary range is $61.78–$84.25 per hour, with external offers typically made between the minimum and midpoint based on experience. Eligible candidates can participate in a variable incentive plan, currently set at 7.5% of base income, based on specific goals.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a Masters or Doctorate degree (for APRNs)
Licensed as a registered nurse and as an APRN by the Minnesota Board of Nursing (for APRNs)
Certified by a national credentialing board (for APRNs)
Certified by specialty (for APRNs)
Must complete continuing education and professional development beyond formal education as outlined by certifying body (for APRNs)
Graduate of an accredited physician assistant program (for PAs)
Licensed by Minnesota Board of Medicine (for PAs)
Certified through National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (for PAs)
Certification by specialty is also available (for PAs)
Must complete continuing education and professional development beyond formal education as outlined by certifying body (for PAs)
Basic Life Support (Advanced Life Support as required by your area of practice)
DEA registration
Pass background check
Register with the Minnesota Prescriptive Monitoring Program (PMP)
