About The Position

The Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) will work in a care team setting in collaboration with other team members including physicians and other allied health staff. The NP or PA will be involved in population management strategies to improve chronic illness outcomes. The provision of care includes but is not limited to comprehensive evaluation, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescription of pharmacologic agents and treatments, non-pharmacologic therapies, and counseling patients. The exact practice location will be determined based on practice needs at the time of hire, within the Baldwin Building, NW Clinic, NE Clinic, SE Clinic, and Kasson Clinic.

Requirements

Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
Current RN and APRN license or PA certification in the state of practice.
DEA registration.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Nice To Haves

Experience in family medicine.
Experience with electronic health records.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
