About The Position
This is a locum tenens position for a Nurse Practitioner specializing in Neurosurgery at a hospital in Boston, MA. The role involves clinical duties only, focusing on pediatric neurosurgery patients. The coverage period is from January 4, 2027, to April 5, 2027. The schedule is 3x13-hour shifts per week, from 6 AM to 7 PM.
Requirements
- Active MA license
- BC in Neurosurgery required
- Minimum 1 year neurosurgery experience
Responsibilities
- Round with residents to develop patient care plans
- Review and place orders for patients
- See patients that require evaluation
- Manage patient discharges
- Remove drains (hemovac / JP drains) as needed
