FTE: 1, Shift: Days, Schedule: 7:30-5:00pm. Are you looking for an opportunity to join a well-established and respected gastroenterology team, making a profound impact on patient care in the Inland Northwest? This is a rewarding position offering a unique blend of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities. It includes 1+ years of experience in a GI setting with additional training customized based on prior experience. The schedule includes weekend and holiday call, based on required minimum shifts, collaboratively managed among providers. You will see and diagnose patients with both standard and complex GI and hepatic conditions, with an opportunity for professional growth in a supportive team environment. MultiCare Rockwood Digestive Health ARNP works closely with gastroenterologists to provide care for patients with conditions such as IBS, Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, liver disease, and GI cancers. This role involves both clinical and hospitalist support, patient education, and administrative duties. It is a great opportunity to work in a collaborative environment and contribute to the growth of an integrated Digestive Health practice.

Requirements

• WA State Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner license
• WA DEA, NPI & prescriptive authority required
• BLS for Healthcare providers – certification by AHA required
• 1+ years of experience in GI setting

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical exams and obtain detailed patient histories
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests (e.g., labs, imaging, endoscopies)
• Prescribe medications
• Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and lifestyle changes
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives
