About The Position

Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner needed for an established, independent, and provider-led primary care clinic. The role emphasizes patient-centered care, building relationships, and offering clinical autonomy with the support of a regional organization. The position involves 36 patient contact hours over a 4-4.5 day workweek with no hospital call or inpatient responsibilities. It offers the opportunity to develop a patient panel and collaborate with a supportive team. The clinic is part of Praxis Health, a large independent medical group in Oregon, providing resources and a network of specialists.

Requirements

  • Passion for Primary Care
  • Demonstrated clinical experience and proficiency in providing comprehensive women's health care
  • 1 year of Primary Care experience as a licensed NP
  • Highly-engaged Nurse Practitioner
  • Passionate about whole-person, community-based care
  • Comfortable seeing patients across the lifespan
  • Clinical competency and expertise in caring for Primary Care patients
  • Strong understanding of examination methodologies and diagnostics
  • Knowledge of common medication, side effects and contraindications
  • In-depth knowledge of legal medical guidelines and medicine best practices
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Respect for patient's confidentiality
  • Compassionate and approachable
  • Responsible and trustworthy
