Nurse Practitioner
About The Position
Rural hospital located several hundred miles northwest of Anchorage, AK seeking a full-time, Nurse Practitioner Director to join their team. This position requires travel and oversees 6-10 supervisors. The location offers a unique experience in rural Alaska with opportunities for fishing, hunting, and wildlife viewing, as well as daily flights to Anchorage and other Alaskan cities. The community is safe for families with excellent local retail and dining options. There is no state income tax and a permanent fund dividend is available after a full calendar year of Alaska Residency.
Requirements
- Must have a valid license Nurse Practitioner or PA license
- 2 years of experience directing or supervising employees
- Nurse Practitioner does not need to be licensed in Alaska
Responsibilities
- Establish a sound management structure for clinic activities and ensure that all clinics are staffed with capable individuals
- Provide oversight to the Supervisor/Instructors in the development of goals, plans, and budgets for attaining Village Health Services' objectives
