Nurse Practitioner - Cardiology in Memphis, TN
About The Position
Saint Francis Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner to join its established Cardiology team supporting a skilled Interventional Cardiologist. This position serves as an extension of the physician practice, providing clinical support, patient management, care coordination, and follow-up services that improve patient access, enhance continuity of care, and optimize patient outcomes. The practice includes two physicians and two advanced practice providers, offering a collaborative environment focused on delivering high-quality cardiovascular care. The role is primarily outpatient-based with some inpatient responsibilities as needed. The Nurse Practitioner will manage and coordinate care for approximately 25-30 patients per day. Some weekend call coverage is required, and additional weekend rounding shifts are compensated at the provider's hourly rate plus 5% in 4-hour blocks. There are no operating room responsibilities associated with this position.
Requirements
- Master's Prepared Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner
- Must be currently licensed, certified or registered to practice profession as required by law, regulation in state of practice or policy.
- RNP License.
- Additional certification(s) per governing board and in accordance with the facility Medical Staff Bylaws.
