The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant is an Advanced Practitioner that helps with all aspects of patient care, including consultation, diagnosis, and treatment. Working in collaboration with a physician lead, the advanced practitioner is responsible for providing quality care to patients within the Urogynecology practice (the practice of Urogynecologic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery; (UPMRS). The AP will provide care in the treatment and management of female urinary disorders, urinary incontinence, voiding dysfunction, pelvic organ prolapses, and other female pelvic disorders. The AP will work primarily in an outpatient setting but may require providing service in an inpatient area. Covered areas could include: Any one of our 8 current practices, or future sites. However, we are seeking a provider for our East and Hartford Region. Office include Norwich, Waterford, Glastonbury and Hartford. We try to limit each provider to 3 sites for optimal continuity of care but at times we are not successful.
