Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- Previous 2-3 years experience as a Nurse Manager in an observation unit and or experience working in the ED
- Excellent leadership and organizational skills, focused on customer service
- Florida RN license
- ACLS
- BLS
Responsibilities
- Functions in first-line management/clinical leadership role in coordinating patient care activities in the Observation Unit
- Ensures appropriate staffing and coverage for unanticipated needs as well as long and short term staff scheduling
- Promotes teamwork and collegial relationships with, and among staff
- Intervenes appropriately and keeps the Executive Director informed of departmental issues
