Nurse Manager - Emergency Department
About The Position
MercyOne is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to serve as a Nurse Manager in the Emergency Department. In this leadership role, the Nurse Manager oversees nursing operations, supports and develops colleagues, and helps deliver exceptional patient-centered care. The position leads a collaborative, inclusive team and contributes to quality, safety, and continuous improvement. The Nurse Manager works with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to achieve department and patient care goals, monitors operational and clinical outcomes, and ensures compliance with regulatory and professional nursing standards. The role is a day-shift, full-time position.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Current Iowa RN license.
- Minimum two years of clinical nursing experience.
- BLS certification within three months of hire.
Nice To Haves
- Master's degree.
- Previous nursing leadership or supervisory experience.
- Specialty certification.
