About The Position

The Nurse Manager position in the operating room at AMCH Main Campus has responsibility over a very fast paced procedural area. The leadership position is in charge of a level one trauma operating room suite with 35 rooms of multiple service lines. We care for over 80 patients a day in a patient focused environment working very closely with Surgeons, Providers, Residents, Fellows, Nursing Students and Medical Students.

Requirements

• Must hold current New York State registration or possess a limited permit to practice in the State of New York.
• 5 Years of Nursing Experience required.
• Baccalaureate in Nursing required.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively to the team, manage resources and empower staff to provide excellent patient care.
• Previous experience managing teams with diverse skills and roles.

Nice To Haves

• Master of Science in Nursing preferred.
• Five years of perioperative experience as a nurse preferred.
