Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field (or equivalent combination of formal education and work experience)
- Current RN License
- BLS Certification (required)
- CPR and AED Certification
- Minimum 3-5 years of acute care nursing experience
- Prior Charge Nurse experience required
- Minimum 2 years in a similar Nurse Manager or Nursing Supervisor role
- Valid driver's license
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong leadership and interpersonal abilities
- In-depth knowledge of healthcare legal policies and regulations
- Demonstrated problem-solving aptitude
- High moral and ethical standards
- Ability to work collaboratively as an integral part of a team
- Flexibility to accommodate schedule changes
- Appropriate professional boundaries and mature judgment
Nice To Haves
- CPI Certification
- Prior experience in Addictions Nursing and/or Mental Health Nursing
- Previous management experience as a Nursing Supervisor or Nurse Manager

Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all nursing personnel operations, fostering a positive and productive team environment
- Actively participate in treatment planning processes and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, nurse practitioners, and clinicians
- Oversee all record-keeping and documentation processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely updates
- Develop and implement short- and long-term strategic goals for the nursing department
- Contribute to budget formulation and resource allocation decisions for staffing, professional development, equipment, and supplies
- Stay current on nursing trends and emerging best practices in healthcare
- Establish new policies and update existing ones to enhance patient care standards
- Jointly create, execute, and supervise the facility's Infection Control Plan
- Plan and oversee admission, nursing, and patient care processes
- Address nursing-related issues promptly and effectively
- Ensure accurate documentation of patient information and adherence to physician orders
- Oversee and document patient medication self-administration
- Arrange appropriate medical attention and follow-up care as needed
- Communicate efficiently across departments to align with client treatment goals
- Demonstrate crisis intervention and de-escalation skills when needed
- Actively participate in treatment team meetings to share progress and collaborate on ongoing care
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for staff and clients
- Ensure adherence to all compliance standards and regulations
- Hire, train, and evaluate nursing staff; prepare detailed performance reports
- Support and mentor staff to create a positive, inclusive work environment
