About The Position

Responsible for 24 hour per day, daily operation of a Nursing Unit/Department by managing all resources necessary to meet the patient needs, providing an environment conducive to employee growth and productivity and functioning within the confines of regulatory requirements. Functions collaboratively and in partnership with Senior Administration to develop and implement strategic plan and to meet short and long term goals of the Healthcare System.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Nursing or closely related field.
Three to five years of previous work-related experience.
Three to six months of on-the-job training and orientation.
Licensure as a Registered Nurse by the State of New Jersey.
Successful completion of Basic Life Support (BLS) within one year of hire.
Successful completion of Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications through the American Heart Association (effective January 2019).
Analytical ability to collect information from diverse sources.
Ability to apply professional principles in performing various analyses.
Ability to summarize information and data to solve problems.

Nice To Haves

Master's degree preferred.
