The Behavioral Health (BH) Nurse Manager serves as a key clinical and operational leader across both adult and pediatric outpatient behavioral health services. This position reports directly to the Duke Children's Clinical Operations Director (COD), with a dotted-line reporting relationship to the Duke Children's Administrative Operations Director (AOD) and the Adult Behavioral Health AOD. Through close collaboration with operational, clinical, and medical leadership, the Nurse Manager supports the delivery of high-quality, patient- and family-centered care across multiple behavioral health settings. The Nurse Manager will provide leadership and operational oversight for Adult Behavioral Health Clinics, a multi-site program that includes Duke Behavioral Health North Durham, North Pavillion, and embedded provider programs; Pediatric Behavioral Health Clinics at Lakeview; Autism Clinic; Duke Children's Evaluation Center (DCEC); Pediatric Psychodiagnostic Clinic; and Duke Children's Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). Duke Behavioral Health provides comprehensive outpatient services for children, adolescents, and adults experiencing a wide range of mental and behavioral health conditions, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, eating disorders, personality disorders, substance use disorders, and other behavioral health concerns. Care is delivered through a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, social workers, advanced practice providers, therapists, and other healthcare professionals committed to individualized, evidence-based care. Treatment modalities include but are not limited to medication management, therapy, neurodiagnostic testing services, partial hospitalization program and group therapy.
