About The Position

The Nurse Manager is a Registered Nurse who manages a specific clinical area with accountability for the delivery of quality care, patient safety and satisfaction, staff performance and education, while maintaining an orientation to fiscal management and sound business decisions.

Requirements

Minimum one (1) year of experience managing the function in the healthcare industry.
Four (4) years experience in clinical specialty.
Graduation from an accredited school of Registered Nursing
Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing (BSN) or BS/BA degree in a healthcare-related field.
Ability to set goals and judge results in accordance with the highest standards and respect
Advance care through the development of new ideas and technology
Promote teamwork to achieve CHOC's mission
Understand and exceed customer expectations
Demonstrated strength in building and articulating a vision and setting goals.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills to understand and anticipate the impact and opportunities across multiple critical projects.

Experience managing multiple projects while maintaining exceptional customer service standards.
Experience presenting findings / recommendations to Executive level audiences.
Intermediate or advanced computer, spreadsheet, & database skills.
Strong interpersonal skills.
