Requirements
- Licensed as a RN in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, with a strong preference for experience in assisted living, long-term care, or geriatrics.
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- In-depth knowledge of regulatory compliance and person-centered care principles.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- A team-first attitude, strong clinical judgment, and a passion for serving older adults with dignity and compassion.

- Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical leadership and oversee daily nursing operations in the Assisted Living community.
- Supervise, mentor, and support nursing and direct care staff, ensuring consistency and excellence in resident care.
- Coordinate and manage resident assessments, individualized care plans, and ongoing wellness monitoring.
- Foster a respectful, inclusive, and engaging community that honors each resident's individuality and autonomy.
- Serve as a key liaison between residents, families, healthcare providers, and internal departments.
- Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as Kendal’s internal policies.
- Lead and participate in staff recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance evaluations.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to drive continuous quality improvement and best practices in elder care.
