About The Position
Freedom Square of Seminole is an upscale Senior Living Community located in Seminole, Florida. As a life care community, Freedom Square makes aging in place simple, allowing residents to seamlessly transition between independent living, assisted living, memory care, and skilled nursing care. Freedom Square of Seminole is looking for a Unit Manager for their Upscale Skilled Nursing position. The Nurse Manager is responsible for the overall nursing care and service on their shift, including accurate and timely administration of medications, treatments, documentation, and emergency calls.
Requirements
- Current nursing license with the state of Florida
- 6 months nursing experience, preferred
Responsibilities
- Supervises direct care of residents and nursing personnel on your shift.
- Gives and receives reports.
- Rounds twice per shift to assure proper care is rendered in a safe and clean environment.
- Keeps physicians and families aware of changes in resident's conditions.
- Assists in developing comprehensive care plans.
