About The Position

Bristol Bay Government Services Group, LLC (BBGSG) is a Government Consulting and Contracting firm supporting missions throughout the world. BBGSG is seeking a Wellness Nurse Lead to join our team in support of Wellness Center Operations located in Washington, DC. The Wellness Nurse Lead is responsible for delivering clinical and wellness services, supporting day-to-day operations of the Wellness Center, and ensuring compliance with federal healthcare standards. This role functions as an independent clinical professional providing high-quality, prevention-focused care.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
  • Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • CPR/BLS certification required
  • Ability to meet federal facility access requirements

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of 3–5 years of clinical nursing experience
  • Experience in ambulatory care, occupational health, or wellness settings preferred
  • Strong clinical judgment and ability to operate independently in a low-acuity environment
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems preferred
  • Strong organizational and communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Deliver clinical and wellness services, including health screenings, basic clinical support, and wellness-focused interventions
  • Perform and document client encounters in accordance with federal privacy requirements and applicable healthcare regulations
  • Support daily operations of the Wellness Center, ensuring services are delivered efficiently and in alignment with contract requirements
  • Maintain clinical readiness, equipment functionality, and supply accountability within the Wellness Center
  • Ensure compliance with infection control standards, safety protocols, and applicable federal and organizational policies
  • Coordinate with the Program Manager and Medical Director (as applicable) to ensure appropriate clinical oversight and escalation of issues
  • Support wellness programming, health promotion activities, and outreach efforts as required by the SOW
  • Assist with data collection, reporting, and documentation to support program performance and government reporting requirements
