RN Manager- Tues-Fri- 10-hour Day Shift
About The Position
Anchor Hospital, a 122-bed, Joint Commission-accredited behavioral health facility established in 1986, is dedicated to serving Adolescents, Adults, and Senior Adults experiencing mental health and substance use crises. Located in College Park, Georgia, we serve patients from across the Southeast through Inpatient, Partial Hospitalization, Outpatient, and TRICARE programs. Our nursing leaders play a critical role in guiding patients toward recovery with compassion, clinical excellence, and integrity. We are seeking a seasoned Nurse Manager who is passionate about behavioral health and inspired by leadership. In this role, you’ll oversee nursing operations across inpatient units, ensuring safe, high-quality, and patient-centered care while leading and supporting a dedicated nursing team. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for an RN who thrives in a fast-paced environment and values teamwork, accountability, and excellence.
Requirements
- Current RN License in GA (or eligible to receive or renew)
- at least 1 year of RN experience, preferably in psych.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred
Responsibilities
- Lead and support nursing operations on inpatient units
- Ensure exceptional patient care and clinical compliance
- Adjust staffing to meet operational needs across evenings, nights, and weekends
- Oversee admissions, discharges, crisis interventions, restraints, and seclusion events
- Supervise and mentor Mental Health Associates, RNs, and LPNs
- Coordinate and lead all medical codes (real and mock), ensuring safety and preparedness
