BSN required for this specialized position, MSN preferred. With this highly technical position, 5 years of leadership experience in transport required, neo/peds transport preferred. You will lead nursing staff with your dynamic nursing practice and oversee overall department operations. As Nurse Manager at MultiCare, your leadership, delegation, and collaboration across your unit are essential to achieving the best possible outcomes and experiences for patients and families. Hospital-based leaders may have a dual matrixed reporting structure.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing, or obtained within five (5) years from the initial date of hire; RN with 15+ years of service or internal candidates hired before January 1, 2021 may be considered in satisfaction of this requirement in lieu of an education agreement
  • Current Registered Nurse license in Washington State or Multistate License endorsement (MLS)
  • Five (5) years of clinical experience in professional or technical role/function preferred
  • Three (3) years of experience in a supervisory or lead capacity preferred

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced degree in Nursing (MSN, PhD, DNP, ARNP)
  • 5 years of leadership experience in transport required, neo/peds transport preferred

Responsibilities

  • Define, develop, and monitor standards of patient care and nursing practices
  • Ensure availability and appropriate allocation of human and material resources
  • Support successful collaboration between nursing, physicians, and other disciplines to achieve desired patient care outcome and department strategic plans
  • Coordinate towards the overall operations of assigned units and the provision of resources
  • Facilitate optimal and cost-efficient patient care delivery
