About The Position

For more than 50 years, St. Anthony North Hospital has delivered optimal health care to the communities of Westminster, Erie, Brighton, Broomfield, Northglenn and Thornton. The campus includes 60,000 square feet of integrated primary and specialty care physician clinics, an ambulatory surgery center, a birthing center with private birthing suites, a Level III Trauma Center with 24/7 emergency services, over 150 inpatient beds, and an outpatient diagnostics center with lab and imaging services. In 2023, the hospital received its prestigious Magnet designation. Built on the pillars of convenience, wellness, and person-centered care, the hospital offers inpatient and outpatient care at one site, with an emphasis on preventive health, wellness, and health education. The 4 South Medical Surgical department at St. Anthony North Hospital is a 30-bed unit that treats cardiac, neuro, and med-surg patients, including a variety of diagnoses such as CHF, COPD, Chest Pain, MI, GI bleeds, post-catheterization, TIA, TR bands, and stroke. The unit receives overflow from anywhere in the hospital if patients have a cardiac or neuro issue, provided they meet unit criteria. The mission is to provide excellent patient-centered care with teamwork and compassion. The department is suitable for those interested in furthering their skillset in cardiac or neurological patients and being part of a talented and passionate nursing group. The Clinical Nursing Manager is responsible for the management of clinical nursing practices and patient care delivery on the assigned unit(s). This role involves managing human, fiscal, material, support, and systems resources while achieving and maintaining unit or department goals by focusing on daily operations. The Clinical Nursing Manager demonstrates high integrity, willingness to take on new challenges, and prioritizes associate engagement, consistently promoting a positive work environment by being visible and available to all staff and customers. The position also supports associate development needs with an emphasis on evidence-based practice and education.

Requirements

  • 3 years RN experience
  • 1-year clinical leadership experience
  • High School GED
  • A degree in nursing (BSN or MSN)
  • Current RN License to practice in state of employment as applicable
  • BLS through the American Heart Association
  • Must sit for appropriate board certification within six months of hire or transfer into the role
  • Certification must be passed/obtained within two years of hire or transfer into the role
  • Clinical and/or Leadership certification required within 6 months of hire or transfer
  • Credential: Nursing Specific- ANCC Approved

  • Masters Degree preferred
