About The Position

In this role you will be developing objectives, policies, and procedures to formalize and implement the mission, vision, values, and strategic plan of the hospital. You will be formulating and monitoring capital, personnel, and operating budgets. You will also be directing staffing and scheduling of personnel, planning and coordinating orientation and educational needs of the staff, and directly supervising employees in the delivery of care. Maintaining a good working relationship with other disciplines and physicians, promoting positive public relations as a representative of the Nursing Department, managing multiple projects, and leading meetings, discussions and process improvement initiatives when needed to promote quality outcomes regarding patient care are also key responsibilities. You will also be responsible for audit controls, required to remain alignment in compliance with regulatory standards. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing or related field, or actively pursuing
  • Current license as a Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania.
  • BLS certification required or obtained within 1 month of hire

Nice To Haves

  • 5 years recent nursing experience preferred
  • 3-5 years progressive leadership experience
  • Related professional certification preferred
