In this role you will be developing objectives, policies, and procedures to formalize and implement the mission, vision, values, and strategic plan of the hospital. You will be formulating and monitoring capital, personnel, and operating budgets. You will be directing staffing and scheduling of personnel, and planning and coordinating orientation and educational needs of the staff. You will be directly supervising employees in the delivery of care, and maintaining a good working relationship with other disciplines and physicians. You will also be promoting positive public relations as a representative of the Nursing Department, managing multiple projects, and leading meetings, discussions and process improvement initiatives when needed to promote quality outcomes regarding patient care. You will also be responsible for audit controls, required to remain alignment in compliance with regulatory standards.
