We are seeking a Nurse Manager – Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our leadership team. This role is responsible for overseeing clinical operations, supporting staff development, and ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care across the health center. The Nurse Manager will provide leadership to clinical support staff, drive operational excellence, and partner closely with providers and leadership to ensure efficient, compliant, and compassionate care delivery.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • Active and unrestricted Florida license as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) required
  • Current BLS certification
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with EHR systems and clinical workflows
  • Ability to mentor, develop, and motivate staff
  • Strong problem-solving and operational management skills

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience preferred
  • Experience in primary care, community health, or public health preferred

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily health center operations across clinical and support teams
  • Monitor staff schedules, patient flow, and clinic efficiency
  • Set clear expectations and provide leadership to clinical support staff
  • Support providers in delivering high-quality patient care
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of staff and provider workflows
  • Educate staff on policy updates, insurance changes, and process improvements
  • Lead team meetings, huddles, and maintain accurate documentation
  • Address patient concerns and support service recovery efforts
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant clinical environment
  • Oversee equipment usage, maintenance, and regulatory compliance
  • Supervise staff performance, scheduling, and timekeeping
  • Conduct evaluations, coaching, and corrective actions as needed
  • Ensure staff credentials and certifications remain current
  • Monitor quality metrics, audits, and compliance with AAAHC standards
  • Manage inventory, supplies, and department budget needs
  • Stay current with regulatory requirements including OSHA, NCQA, and CMS
  • Serve as subject matter expert for the Vaccines for Children (VFC) program
  • Participate in community outreach and engagement activities
  • Support and model TFHC’s mission, vision, and values
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and accreditation standards
  • Maintain infection control and safety protocols
  • Complete administrative documentation and personnel actions
  • Perform other duties as assigned
