About The Position
The nurse manager is a registered nurse who, using critical thinking skills, coordinates the clinical activities within a specific unit and collaborates with other members of the health care team. She/he directly and indirectly supervises the care rendered by ancillary staff. She/he assumes house supervision duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree BSN
- 2-3 yrs experience
- REGISTERED NURSE license
- BLS/CPR (AMERICAN HEART ASSN) certification
- ACLS (AMERICAN HEART ASSN) certification
- PALS (AMERICAN HEART ASSN) certification
- CPI certification (WITHIN 30 DAYS)
Responsibilities
- Coordinates the clinical activities within a specific unit.
- Collaborates with other members of the health care team.
- Directly and indirectly supervises the care rendered by ancillary staff.
- Assumes house supervision duties as assigned.
